You have to wait to earn in game currency that you can spend on improving the Vault, but you can choose to take a risk to hurry things along.
Your resources keep dwindling, so you're under constant pressure to make sure your people are working well. Tension and risk are what makes Fallout Shelter stand out from the competition. As your population works, you tap on their location to collect the resources they create. Make sure you always have enough power for all the rooms, or they will shut down and become uninhabitable. People will wait outside your Vault, to be housed in rooms as you create them. Gradually you'll be able to expand the size and facilities of your vault, hopefully making it a better place to live for your survivors. You allocate tasks so the Vault will have the resources it needs to survive.
Camera ready art cannot exceed 8.5" x 11".Your job in Fallout Shelter is to manage the lives of your Vault's inhabitants. Art must be clean and have sharp, clear edges and be ready to scan. If you are using Illustrator in Adobe Creative Suite, click "Export" and save your file to a "Legacy EPS" file in one of our versions. 
If you are using a newer version, please save your file as one of our versions. We use Adobe Illustrator versions 10 and 11, and Adobe Photoshop versions 7 and 8. We hold screens for one year with no re-run fee.
